Rune's is still family owned and operated after almost 70 years! After being originally founded in 1945, the store was acquired in 1957 by H.J. Pieser and Joseph Morris who also had a store in Fairmont, MN. Shortly after taking over the business, they brought in two hard working and bright men, named Dick Frisch and Gene Barber, to manage the business.
For the past three decades, Dick's two sons Dave and Doug successfully continued to run the company. Today, Rune's Furniture enters a new chapter as the new generation steps in to take the lead and build on Dave and Doug's successes.
